This is a present from Aunt Sandy. There are several ways of wearing it. Cool huh!

My first holiday

Grandpa, Grandma and Mama brought me on a 4D3N visit to Batu Pahat in Malaysia to visit relatives. The 4-hr car ride from Singapore to Batu Pahat was pretty fun as I got to crawl all over the backseat (on top of everyone's laps), look out of the side and back windows, play peek-a-boo with my granduncle (who was driving), peep at my reflection in the rear mirror ... One word to describe it all - "activity-packed". Somehow I got a feeling Grandpa, Grandma and Mama didn't really enjoy the car ride so much ...

These are my new friends from Batu Pahat -

Christmas trees & me

So many Christmas trees in shopping centres and along Orchard Road! I think they are all so pretty, a pity I don't have one at home.

No playgroup after all ...

I was supposed to be going to playgroup for 2 hours every weekday morning from 5 Jan 09. I was preparing to show my new school bag to my new friends. Sadly, the teacher called to tell Papa that she made a mistake and I can only go for playgroup in Jul 09 when I turn 18 months. What a disappointment!

My first passport

My Papa and Mama brought me to collect my passport yesterday! Just in time for my first trip out of Singapore, to Batu Pahat, to visit grand-uncles and grand-aunts, in 2 weeks time. The Mickey Mouse passport cover is a gift from my 小阿姨婆. A perfect gift, don't you think!

The sun, the beach and the sea

Before we set off to Changi Beach, I had a good roll about on Papa's and Mama's bed.

Nowadays I have to share my seat with this strange looking six-legged octopus ...

What are we doing at Changi Beach under a hot scorching sun?

Oh ... it's a bird. No, it's a plane, it's a huge and noisy aeroplane flying over our heads!

Next stop. Dinner at the SAF Yacht Club. The rickety high chair was so fun. Best of all, there wasn't a waist strap to hold me to the chair, I could climb out anytime I want!

After dinner, we took a stroll along the pier watching the sunset, the big waves splash against the pier and many people with fishing rods waiting for their catch-of-the-day.

I decided to do something to scare the fishes away ... Haha!

Passport Photo - Attempt No.2

The shortlisted photos from Papa's 2nd attempt at my passport photo. Anyone noticed my slightly orange-tinged nose? I suspect this is a symptom of the "overly-healthy rabbit condition". I think my ears are growing longer too.

Actually I just recovered from a mild attack of gastric floo. Now Papa makes sure I always wash my hands, the first thing after I'm home and makes a big fuss whenever I put my finger(s) into my mouth. Sometimes adults can be really troublesome!

Visit to the fish farm

You know, every now and then, I get to eat porridge with some fish meat. That's the only meat I can eat now. So, it was decided this morning that we'll go to learn more about fishes. After looking up info from the internet, we decided to go to this fish farm to explore, explore, maybe can even buy some fish to cook.

As you can see, there were some food boxes (in the 1st picture). Probably microwaveable set lunches. They don't look very appetizing, but maybe some people like them. I don't know why, you can take a closer look and let me know what's delicious about them.

Well, in the 2nd picture, there are some plump, juicy-looking, glistening fishes wriggling in the tank. Somehow, they don't look quite right in my porridge, so we didn't buy any.

In the end, we didn't buy any fishes. But it was fun visiting the fish farm, and seeing all the fishes in the state before becoming some part of dinner. Maybe in a few months, I can visit the zoo, to do marketing..

Passport Photo - Attempt No.1

My perfectionist Papa has decided on a 2nd attempt (by this weekend) at taking my passport photo before selecting the "best" one for my very own passport.
I'm going on a holiday ... holiday ... I'm going on a holiday ...
Way away... far faraway away
I'm a air-borne baby on a holiday,
Cross the seas of daisies, chase the bees away..
Till my naptime, I'll make my sunny hay,
Come come, come run with me today.

Free trial of Jumperoo

If you don't have this toy at home, get your Papa and Mama to bring you to Marina Square's Kiddy Palace for a free trial!

A walk at MacRitchie Reservoir

While Papa and Mama were enjoying a cool late-afternoon breeze at the MacRitchie reservoir, I was happily blowing bubbles with my saliva. It's not easy blowing a big bubble with saliva, you know. Don't believe me, try it yourself! What you see here, is the result of practice and many wet bibs!

Camera-perfect

Camera-perfect shots of me trying out my new car seat. If you are wondering why I'm smiling like that (super-stretched mouth and eyes), that's because I'm imitating the expression of the one who's taking pictures of me!

My hanky cap

Side and front view of my hanky cap. It's versatile (serves both as hanky and cap) and highly absorbent (drool from mouth and perspiration from head). I recommend it to all babies who have lots of drool and perspiration. Anyone knows where I can patent this invention?

Lleyton-kor kor's Birthday Party

There were many toys and balloons at Lleyton-kor kor's birthday party! And there was a cake in the shape of a castle, for Lleyton-kor kor is the little prince. Isn't it awesome to be a one-year old! I'm looking forward to my birthday party ... 3 more months to go! Papa, Mama, birthday party birthday party, pretty please ...

River Festival

Have you seen the brightly-lit boats sailing down the Singapore River? I was at Clarke Quay last Sunday to catch a glimpse of them. I thought there will be many many boats decorated with bright lights everywhere along the river but there were only FOUR! What a disappointment! I had more fun blabbering to myself and blowing bubbles with my saliva!

Before Man walked on 2 legs, he probably did this...

Here's what I've been up to.. learning how to crawl.

If you think that I am also doing a lot more things other than crawling, you are right.
I'm also adding in my punches, kicks, lunges, pulls, etc. If I want to do something, I want to do it with a bang like no other.. I'll be the best in class, I'll have the style like no other. Hummpf!! I'm the new Drama-King!!!
I don't laugh easily because I'm 'dao'. I don't eat everything because I'm 'tiao'. I have my long eyelashes therefore I'm 'hiao'. I'm writing this because I'm 'siao'!

Stuck in a car-ful of dinosaurs

Not a very happy situation, to be sitting in a car full of over-sized and over-aged reptiles with weird weird colors. Especially when they are all grinning from ear-hole to ear-hole, and they are all eyeing me. I think I can hear their stomach growl.. humm humm..

"Bahhhh...." the purple dino hollered.
"Dear Dear Dino, what big eyes you have..." so I said.
"The bigger my eyes, the more food I see, hee hee.."
"Oops.. dear dear dino, what clean white teeth you have...", I continued.
"The cleaner my teeth, the tastier my meal, heh heh heh.."
"Please don't eat me! I'm small, I'm thin, and I had just poo-pooed", I pleaded.
"Bah...." with that, the dino grumpily left.
But anyway, I think the dino was called "Bah-ney".

Swimming again

I took up Lleyton's offer to join him and another friend, Jireh, at the pool. The water was freezing cold ... wonder why the other 2 boys were not at all afraid of the cold water ... gggrrr ... I prefer a nice and warm soak in my bath tub. I admit, I'm pampered! Hee hee ...

Notice I'm wearing the same bodysuit as Lleyton, what a coincidence!
