Preparations for ...

In preparation for preschool next month, Papa bought me a table and chair set. Now I can read and write (scribble actually) at my very own table. Yeah!

Some of the items on the checklist for preschool which Papa/Mama has yet to buy - yoga mat (for weekly yoga classes and daily afternoon naps), mosquito repellent and hat (outdoor playground time in the morning).

I'm turning two and going to school! Can you believe it???

Christmas, not yet?

Is it Christmas already? Look at all the Christmas decorations lighting up Orchard Road!

Getting tired of posing for pictures. Found a convenient spot to sit down while Papa was snapping away and playing around with his camera.

Mama thought a cage could keep me trapped and stop me from running around ... Oh no no, I don't think so ...

Hey I remember this Christmas tree! Saw it last year. Right here, at the very same old place! How nostalgic! Check out my blog entry a year ago.

My Sleep Companions

Let me introduce you to my 2 favourite toys which accompany me to sleep every night. "Duckie duck duck" was Mama's but now it belongs to me. You probably can't tell that it is more than 10 years old! "Pooh Bear" is the new toy which Papa just bought for me, an early Christmas present!

Wet Day. Wet Programme

Another day out! This time to the playground at Vivocity.

Having some fun before I got myself a bit wet ...

and very wet ...

Luckily it only started pouring when we were making our way home. Just the perfect weather for my afternoon nap! A fun-filled day for me but a rather tiring one for Papa and Mama. I thought I heard them say that it was more tiring than working, hee hee ...

PS: Papa bought me a new toy which I hugged to bed, together with my duckie. My sleep companions ... my next blog entry.

My Biggest Bruise

This is my souvenir from falling off the sofa, my forehead knocking on the floor, at grandma's house. The biggest bruise I've ever had from all the knocks and bumps so far.

Ouch!

Still, I'm a professional baby; will smile for photo even with a big ba-loo-ku.

Balls of a time!

Papa and Mama brought me to East Coast Park today. We spent the morning at the indoor playground. There were ball pools and slides. It was great fun!

After a few hours of play, I took a break to have a drink and some biscuits. See the bruise on my lower lip? Slipped and fell when I was running about ...

But no worries, my front teeth are still in place!

While I was taking my afternoon nap in my stroller, papa and mama took a nice walk along the beach. Papa caught a picture of my stone-look just after I woke up from my nap.

Ta-da! I'm fully awake now!

October notes...

Hi everyone, there's nothing much in particular, just updating everyone with some recent pictures of myself. This is me accompanying my parents and ma-ma, gong-gong to lunch at crystal jade. I had some 'fresh-cuttlefish' porridge. Being the fussy food-picker that I am, I didn't have any of the cuttlefish. Wonder who I got my taste genes from..
I have also started doodling recently. I'll show you my name in my own handwriting next time,.. some time next time.

I've also got to show you my new friend.

He's fatty, I'm phatty; we are both fatties/phatties. He has his stupid grin, I have my stick-on grin, both of us have an irritating grin :] I also have another cheek-to-check picture with him,

Estelle's birthday

I was at Estelle's birthday celebration last Saturday. We had an ice-cream birthday cake, yum yum ...

Me, posing for camera shots with cousin, aunt and uncle before singing the birthday song. Of the pretty girls, can you guess which is my cousin and which is my aunt?

I bet you couldn't guess. Estelle, birthday girl in blue, on the left and Aunt Ashley on the right.

When I miss my afternoon nap ...

The moral of the story - I shouldn't be playful and miss my naptime ...

Marina Barage

After spending almost a week at home because of diarrhea, finally I got some fresh air at the Marina Barage last Sunday. Did you know that people go kite-flying there?

Mama was pointing at a kor-kor flying a kite

I tried to run after the kor-kor and his kite

Papa said "no-no"

Botanic Gardens

Papa and Mama brought me to the Botanic Gardens yesterday morning. Check out the man-made mini waterfall, and the many fishes and tortoises swimming in the pond beside it.

Next, my favourite activity - kicking and throwing my ball, and happily running after it! The big grass field was almost as great as the Fitzroy Garden at Melbourne if not for the warm and humid weather in Singapore.

Papa thinks I'm a little bit more tanned now. What do you think?

Big Boy

Since last Wed, I started going to a 2hr-playgroup from Mon to Fri mornings. Although it has been more than a week now, I still can't help sobbing a little when I have to say goodbye to grandma. Being a big boy is so tough ...

Journey to the South

Suburban green space has taken a new form, as seen in the almost 1 year old Southern Ridges Walking Trail. I remember papa and mama brought me here once when I was younger (a moment of nostalgia). Refer to my earlier blog, life goes round in circles, we will visit again the places we have gone before.

Grown up a bit I may have, laziness is still my 2nd nature. Being pushed in a stroller is a nice way to get around.

I have to do my dues, and provide camera-friendly shots. Still lurving my panda tee shirt, think I'll miss it when I grow bigger.

Happy hour with Kee Seong

1, 2, 3, pick, pick, pick, 4, 5, 6, pick, pick, pick

Can you guess what happened?

I threw an unopened brand new packet of soya beans onto the floor. The bag broke and the beans spilled all over the floor ...

The punishment for my mischief - pick up the beans and put them into a container. You know what ... best punishment I've had, it was so much fun! Although you should have seen the look on Papa's and Mama's faces, they weren't enjoying it at all. Adults are strange.

PS: The powdery marks on my face are evidence of my earlier mischief.

Restless Rascal

Why stay cooped indoors when you can run around outside, get some sun & vitamin D? They say that I'm a restless rascal who can't sit still, but I can't understand why they think it's fun to sit together in a big round table at a restaurant staring at each other? or maybe they are just salivating at the food on the table which don't look all that delicious to me. I openly refused any offer of the food, hmph ... *moi moi*
