Bird Park

Papa's company had its family day at the Bird Park last Saturday. It was a really hot and sunny day. Mama forgot to pack my Doraemon hat. Other than the scorching sun, we also had to bear with the itchy mosquito bites! Next time, I will remind Mama to put on sunblock and insect repellent for me, also to bring a hat and stroller (poor Papa had to carry lazy me most of the time).

One of the rare moments which Papa managed to coax me into walking while I was munching on my animal biscuits. We were playing stamp the ants as we walked.

This is a victoria crowned pigeon enjoying a sun tan, as well as probably airing her musty armpits.

These are the sun conures, having a tea-break, and enjoying a session of gossip-mongering... twitter, twitter, what's on the latest twitter?

A yummy cold ice-cream treat before heading home for my afternoon nap.

changes in my life; no turning back

I'm eating; do not disturb.

After my yogurt, I was feeling pretty happy, so I went to take a photograph with my brother Qiyuan. He was obliging enough to open his eyes and look at the camera. Quick as the weather, my mood changed after that, and Qiyuan also started to daydream away; hence we did not have anymore pictures taken together that day.

A moment lost in time; a picture to keep for a lifetime.
(first photo of the 2 of us together)

Night Safari

I visited the Night Safari last Sunday. I've not been to the "day" zoo before so that was actually my first visit to the zoo.

The scariest part was the walk-in-enclosure of the fruit bats. I was so frightened that I held on tightly to my Papa.

The largest spider I've ever seen!

We only reached home at 10.30pm that night, way past my bedtime and we didn't even manage to visit all the Night Safari animals! I must ask Papa and Mama to bring me to the Night Safari again another time.

Excursion to The Arts House

My preschool teachers brought me and my classmates to the Arts House yesterday to watch a puppet show, part of "Child Size, A Festival for Young Ones".

In the bus, munching away on biscuits distributed by the teachers.

Before the puppet show, there were 2 workshops on dance and music movements, but I was more interested in the aunties and uncles wearing balloons on their heads!

A picture taken outside the Arts House while waiting for the bus to pick us up. A lot of interesting statues made of cardboard. Luckily no one saw me trying to topple one of them over!
